Most of us grow up with nice white tooth, thanks to their porcelain-type enamel surface. composed of small crystalline rods, teeth enamel is composed to guard the teeth from the effectiveness of snacking, gnashing, trauma and acid attacks emanating by sugar. But over it’s period of time gloss is faded, becoming more transparent and accepting the yellow color of dentin – the tooth’s middle properties – to be displayed through.

During everyday chewing, dentin remains intact while millions of micro-cracks are created in the enamel. It is these cracks, as well as the holes between the crystalline enamel fibers, that progressively fill up with stains and debris. As a result, the teeth eventually develop a dull, lackluster aspect.

Teeth whitening dislodge the discoloration and garbage, leaving the enamel holes open and unmasked. Some of the holes are directly re-mineralized by saliva.funny-pictures-cat-brushes-teeth
